
This is Fumasa's Yamaimo-iri Yamato Fu, which was on sale at the 1300th Anniversary Celebration of the Nara Heijo-kyo Capital in 2010 . Fu is a wheat-gluten product used in Japanese cooking. 
Yamaimo-iri Yamato Fu is baked by stubborn artisans with years of experience who want it to be just right. 
It feels smooth on the tongue and has a mild flavor.
